Over the course of his career, John Lusink has demonstrated that he is an accomplished leader in the real estate industry, achieving success in three main areas: assembling high-performing teams, innovative operational solutions, and mergers and acquisitions. With more than 30 years of experience, John’s professional background includes a high-performing commercial real estate sales record, experience managing the corporate offices of one of Canada’s most well-known real estate brands, and the ownership of a successful residential real estate franchise. John is an asset to any company or organization that is preparing for systemic changes, organizational restructuring or implementing a new growth plan. He has become a successful change agent through his experience in strategic real estate deal coordination, as well as leading negotiations as a marketing manager for a major real estate development firm. His areas of expertise include managing and overseeing successful mergers, creating recruiting and retention programs, implementing large-scale initiatives to increase per-agent productivity, developing marketing and new technology strategies, building skilled management teams, delivering positive financial results, and motivating all staff to perform at a high level so as to exceed expectations. Currently, John Lusink serves as the President and Broker of Record at Right at Home Realty Inc. Right at Home Realty is an enviable Canadian success story. Privately owned and operated since its inception in 2004, RAH has expanded at a phenomenal rate to become Canada's largest independent real estate brokerage. Named the number one brokerage by sales volume in the Greater Toronto Area for the past six consecutive years, RAH today supports 4,930 real estate sales agents operating out of ten branch offices across the GTA, Barrie and Ottawa. John also maintains an active role in organized real estate. He served as director for the 50,000-member Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB) for six years and, most recently, as the commercial director for the 2018 Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA), an organization with 70,000 members. During his time at TREB, he served for two years as the chairman of the Government Relations Committee and as the chair of the Finance Committee. John holds a B.A. from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario and a MBA from the University of Fredericton, New Brunswick. He holds a number of certifications including Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), designee of the Council of Real Broker Managers (CRB) and a Fellow of the Real Institute (FRI). He also serves as a trainer and coach for several programs offered by the Real Estate Business Institute (REBI).
